摘要
China aims to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060,declared Chinese President Xi Jinping at the general debate of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 22,2020.Carbon neutrality refers to achieving net-zero CO_(2) emissions through balancing the total amount of greenhouse gases directly or indirectly produced by individuals,companies,and other organizations within a certain period of time and the amount of reduction in such emissions.
