救亡·治学·育人:抗战时期坪石先师的使命担当——以王亚南先生为中心

Salvation,Scholarship and Education:The Mission Undertaking of“Pingshi Master”during the Anti-Japanese War--Centered on Mr.Wang Yanan

抗战时期,中山大学辗转迁至粤北坪石,一批知识分子在此教学,为华南教育乃至中国教育的延续与发展做出了卓越贡献,被尊称为“坪石先师”。王亚南先生是坪石先师的杰出代表。1940-1944年,他在中山大学任教,将救亡、治学、育人融于一身,体现了中国知识分子的使命担当。坪石先师的精神和风范,至今仍有现实意义。

During the Anti-Japanese War,Sun Yat-sen University moved to Pingshi area in northern Guangdong,and many intellectuals also gave lectures here.They made outstanding contributions to inherit and develop the education of South China and even the whole China,and they were honored as“Pingshi Master”.Mr.Wang Yanan is an outstanding representative of them.From 1940 to 1944,as a teacher of Sun Yat-sen University,he integrated national salvation,scholarship and education into one mission,which showed the responsibility of Chinese intellectuals.Their spirit and demeanour are still of practical significance to this day.
