Objective:To compare the effect of S-type laryngoscope and S-type visual laryngoscope in tracheal intubation under general anesthesia, and to discuss the clinical application value of S-type visual laryngoscope. Methods:Patients who underwent general anesthesia for endotracheal intubation in our hospital from September 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the research subjects, and randomly divided into two groups:experimental group(50 cases)and control group(50 cases). The success rate of intubation, intubation time, complications and glottic exposure time were compared. Results:The duration of intubation, the number of intubation and the exposure time of glottis in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, while the success rate of one intubation was significantly higher than that in the control group. The rates of laryngeal swelling, mucosal injury and laryngeal bleeding in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:S-type video laryngoscope was better than S-type laryngoscope in all aspects in general anesthesia tracheal intubation. It can effectively reduce the exposure time of glottis and the number of intubation times, and can improve the damage to patients caused by tracheal intubation in general anesthesia surgery, making it safer in clinical use.
