This paper describes the implementation and evaluation of a complete steel tape measure capability verifi-cation plan project.The research background and significance of the capability verification project are introduced;Describes the process of determining the selected experimental samples,stability assessment,reference value and uncertainty;This paper summarizes the grouping of participating laboratories,illustrates the results of participating laboratories at each measurement point,lists emphatically the laboratory data that can reflect typical problems in this capability verification,and explores into the causes of unqualified conclusions.
