摘要
图书借阅是图书馆利用的重要组成部分,也是反映学生投入的重要指标。以某高校3981名大一学生为研究对象,通过倾向得分匹配方法,分析图书借阅对学业表现的影响,结果显示,在对社会及人口统计特征、个人特征的数据进行平衡化处理后,图书借阅对于学业表现仍然有显著正向效应。高校应该通过鼓励学生图书借阅行为、优化图书馆绩效评价方式等以促进学生投入。
Book borrowing is an important part of library utilization and an important indicator reflecting students'engagement as well.Its effect on academic performance was studied based on the data collected from 3981 freshmen of a university and analyzed with the method of Propensity Score Matching.The results show that after balancing the data of social and demographic characteristics and personal characteristics,book borrowing still has a significant positive effect on academic performance.Therefore,universities should encourage students'book borrowing and optimize library performance evaluation so as to promote student'engagement in study.
