Objective:To evaluate effects of Levonorgestral silastic implant subcutaneous implantation combined with high intensity focused ultrasound in treatment of patients with adenomyosis.Methods:84 patients with adenomyosis were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,42 cases in each group. The control group was given high intensity focused ultrasound therapy, while the observation group was combined with Levonorgestral silastic implant subcutaneous implantation on the basis of that of the control group. The levels of surgery-related indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After the treatment, the menstrual volume of the observation group was less than that of the control group;the uterine volume was smaller than that of the control group;the VAS score was lower than that of the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:The Levonorgestral silastic implant subcutaneous implantation combined with high intensity focused ultrasound in treatment of the patients with adenomyosis can reduce the menstrual volume, reduce the uterine volume, and reduce the pain score. Moreover,it is superior to single high intensity focused ultrasound therapy.
