Effects of Light on Biological Clocks and Metabolism

摘要 昼夜节律系统由生物钟驱动,通过调节新陈代谢相关的关键酶、激素等,调控机体内部代谢过程,从而使生物体预测并适应外界昼夜变化的环境。光是调节昼夜节律与外界环境同步的最重要的信号,异常光照引起的昼夜节律紊乱可增加代谢性疾病的患病风险。本文阐述了光调节生物钟的分子机制和同步昼夜生物节律的特点,总结了异常光照与糖脂代谢紊乱相关疾病联系的最新研究进展。 Circadian timekeeping systems,controlled by biological clocks,allow appropriate organisms’internal metabolism by temporal regulation of metabolic key enzymes and hormones to anticipate and respond to recurrent daily changes in the environment.Environmental light is a key stimulus that synchronizes the internal circadian system with external time cues.Circadian disruption by light has been reported to increase susceptibility to metabolic diseases.In this review,the molecular mechanism of light regulating circadian clocks and effect of light resetting circadian rhythm is introduced.Furthermore,the evidence for the interactions between aberrant light and metabolism disorder is reviewed.All these efforts are made for a better understanding of the mechanism through which light may exert its effects on metabolism by disrupting circadian rhythms as it will provide new prevention strategies for metabolism disorder.
