摘要
唯美主义在梁实秋的文艺思想中占据着重要位置。梁实秋早期接受了唯美主义为艺术而艺术的主张,将艺术的形式美放在首要位置,认为美是艺术创作应该遵循的最高原则。在梁实秋从浪漫转向古典的过程中,唯美主义起了重要的中介作用。梁实秋对于五四新文学的反思是从对唯美主义的批评开始的,他对唯美主义加以扬弃与利用,吸收了唯美主义艺术超功利性的主张,作为反击功利主义的理论依托,并在文艺与时代精神相疏离、艺术有其自身独立品格的观念上与唯美主义保持一致,同时借鉴了唯美主义艺术自律的主张,致力于新诗格律化的探索。
Aestheticism occupies an important position in literary thoughts of Liang Shiqiu.He accepted the idea of"art for art’s sake"in his early years and believed that beauty is the highest principle that art creation should follow.In the process of Liang Shiqiu’s transition from Romanticism to Classicism,Aestheticism played a pivotal intermediary role.Liang Shiqiu’s reflection on the May 4 th new literature began with criticism of aestheticism.He abandoned and utilized aestheticism and absorbed the idea of nonutility as a theoretical basis for countering utilitarianism in literature and art,and kept in line with aestheticism in the alienation of literature and art from the spirit of the times.
