The CPC’s Democratic Training of the Masses in the Soviet Areas

中国共产党在苏区实行民主制度、民主政治并非一帆风顺。面对部分群众的民主意识、政权意识薄弱,个别政府工作人员的官僚主义,以及工农兵代表会议制度刚刚实行的现实情况,必须对群众进行民主启蒙与训练,以期把好事做实。围绕激发群众的民主意识,培养群众的民主能力,强固群众的民主信念等任务,中国共产党从宣传鼓动、选举运动、市乡代表会议、让群众参加并监督政府工作等方面着手,对苏区群众进行民主训练,取得显著成绩。党对苏区群众的民主训练深刻地影响了后来不同时期根据地以至新中国的民主政治建设,并且雄辩地向世人表明,中国共产党实行的民主制度、民主政治是真正的无产阶级民主,中国共产党的初心与使命是坚定不移的。

The CPC’s implementing the democratic system and democratic politics in the soviet areas was not a straight and plain process.In the face of the weak awareness of democracy and political power among some of the masses,the bureaucratism of some government workers,and the fact that the worker-peasant-solider representative conference system had been carried out not long before,the CPC had to enlighten and train the masses on democracy in order to make good deeds into reality.To inspire the democratic consciousness of the masses,train the masses’ability of democracy,and strengthen the masses’belief in democracy,the CPC took measures in the aspects such as propaganda,election campaign,city/township representative meeting,and the masses’participation in and supervision of the regime,to train the masses in the soviet areas,and achieved remarkable results.The Party’s democratic training of the masses in the soviet areas profoundly has influenced the development of democratic politics in the revolutionary bases and even the new China in different periods,and eloquently demonstrated to the world that the democracy implemented by the CPC is the real proletarian democracy,and that the original aspiration and mission of the Party have been steadily and consistently realized.
