The Evolution History of Huizhou Print

Huizhou print is a regional print genre based on ancient print,which flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties.The reasons for its prosperity include geography,cultural and economic development,etc.,and by virtue of the influence of Huizhou merchants,it has had a significant impact on the style of local prints.This paper systematically introduces the general history of Huizhou print from its birth to the present age from three perspectives:the origin and development,the reasons for its prosperity in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and the decline and rebirth in modern times.
