国外预印本平台建设的历程、特点及启示

The History and Characteristics of and Inspirations from Foreign Preprint Platform Development

预印本平台是开放获取和科学交流的重要媒介组织。分析国外预印本平台的建设历程有助于中国预印本平台以史为鉴,继往开来。本研究回顾了国外预印本平台建设的历史图景,将其总结为前时代、雏形期、完善期、扩张期、繁荣期等五个建设阶段。在这一过程中,国外预印本平台逐渐形成了外部合作性强、平台影响力强、独立程度高等特点。在此基础上,本研究建议中国预印本平台强化与期刊之间的学术资源合作,同时将引资与开发相结合,不断优化平台功能,提高科研服务力和学术影响力。

The preprint platforms act as an important media organization for open access and scientific exchanges.An analysis of the development process of foreign preprint platforms will help their Chinese counterparts take that history as a mirror to guide own growth in the future.This paper reviews the past development of foreign preprint platforms,and divides the process into five stages,including pre-existence,inception,improvement,expansion,and boom.During this process,foreign preprint platforms have gradually taken on such characteristics as enhanced cooperation with external parties,strong influence and a high degree of independence.On this basis,the paper suggests that Chinese preprint platforms step up academic resource cooperation with journals,and also combine the attraction of investment with development to constantly optimize the platform functions,and improve the scientific research service ability and academic influence.
