A comprehensive evaluation of internet technology tools and diabetes self-management

互联网技术手段可通过提供学习、激励和支持的方式来补充医疗保健提供者提供的糖尿病护理。其可支持糖尿病患者的日常自我管理活动,包括血糖监测、锻炼、健康饮食、服药、并发症监测等。本文旨在评估用于促进糖尿病患者自我管理的互联网技术对成人2型糖尿病患者自我管理情况和糖尿病预后的影响。通过检索Medline、PubMed和EMBASE数据库,以“糖尿病自我管理”“互联网技术”“2型糖尿病”“智能手机”“手机和糖尿病”为关键词进行文献检索,涵盖了2008-2021年相关文献,最终确定将定性实验和随机对照试验设计在内的14项研究纳入本综述。结果发现,互联网技术干预手段对糖尿病预后有积极影响,包括糖化血红蛋白水平、患者自我管理行为及自我效能的改善。建议将基于互联网技术的干预手段与医疗保健提供者提供的糖尿病护理结合使用,使糖尿病患者获得更大受益。

Internet technology tools are used to complement diabetes care provided by healthcare providers by offering learning,motivation and support.It can support daily self-management activities of diabetic patients,including blood glucose monitoring,exercise,healthy eating,medication taking,and complication monitoring.The purpose of this article is to evaluate Internet technologies used to facilitate diabetes self-management and their impact on self-management status and diabetes prognosis in adults with type 2 diabetes.By searching Medline,PubMed,and EMBASE databases for"diabetes self-management,""Internet technology,""type 2 diabetes,""smartphone"and"cell phone and diabetes",the literature search was conducted and covered the relevant literature from 2008 to 2021.Fourteen studies,including qualitative trials and randomized controlled trial designs,were finally identified for inclusion in this review.The results found that Internet technology interventions had a positive impact on diabetes prognosis,including improvements in glycated hemoglobin levels,patient self-management behaviors,and self-efficacy.It is suggested that the use of Internet technology interventions in combination with diabetes care provided by health care providers may be of considerable benefit to patients with diabetes.
