Polyvinyl chloride(PVC)is widely used in the field of medical devices because of its excellent performance and low price.This paper first introduces the physical and chemical properties of PVC materials,and analyzes the requirements of PVC materials in the field of medical devices.In the actual production and application,there are still many safety problems in the medical equipment made of PVC as raw materials.It is necessary to add some additives in the preparation of PVC medical devices according to the relevant standards and requirements to further improve the performance of PVC medical devices and reduce the pollution of toxic substances to dr 14 gs,so as to broaden the application scope of PVC materials in the field of medical devices.
