The large-scale discussion on“the criteria of truth”is the prologue to China's reform and opening up,and can be regarded as a classic case of philosophy participating in and changing China's social development.China has more than 40 years’reform experience.How can contemporary Chinese philosophy make its own contribution to the society under the new historical condition of comprehensively deepening reform?Taking into account the unique theoretical characteristics of philosophy,such as the way of thinking,the way of being and the way of working,it should be the mission of the times as well as the theoretical selfconsciousness for contemporary Chinese philosophy to respond to the problems of the times based on the reform practice,summarize the reform experience with a look back on the reform process,and contribute Chinese wisdom through constructing the reform discourse.
