This paper discusses and analyzes the enlightenment of large-scale blackout in some parts of Texas to the operation safety of thermal power generating units in Southern Fujian under the extreme weather conditions,and tries to summarize experience and put forward preventive measures to play the role of throwing a brick to attract jade.
