Dying for love has always been the classic theme of ancient Chinese love literature, and with the development of literature,a new literary theme-dying for love and changing into other living beings, has gradually emerged. This theme is reflected in the gradual development of HAN Peng's story of Dunhuang version from"dying for love"to"dying for love and changing into other living beings".In the Dunhuang version of Peng Fu,the souls of HAN Peng and his wife were immortal after they died for love, and changed into other living beings to continue the love.It is the embodiment of philosophical concepts such as"all things have souls"and"God is immortal"in Chinese classical literature. The"stone","acacia tree"and"mandarin duck"are also endowed with the meaning of love by scholars because of their own characteristics, and become the objects of the"souls"after dying for love.
