Research and Development Suggestions on Patent Situation of Blockchain Technology

本文简要阐述了区块链技术主要特点、产业布局以及应用潜力。以区块链技术专利文献为研究对象,按照专利申请趋势、主要申请地域、主要申请人、主要技术分支以及竞争力五个维度开展全球区块链技术专利态势研究。研究表明,中国和美国已成为全球区块链技术研发和专利布局的主要目标市场国,我国区块链技术已进入快速发展期,具有较强的技术竞争优势。最后,针对如何充分发挥知识产权作用,助力我国区块链技术创新和产业发展,本文提出有关知识产权战略、质量提升工程、专利服务能力和海外布局意识的具体建议。

This paper briefly describes the main characteristics, industrial layout and application potential of blockchain technology. Taking the patent literature of blockchain technology as the research object, the global patent situation of blockchain technology is studied according to the four dimensions of patent application trend, main application regions, main applicants, main technology branches and competitiveness. Research shows that China and the United States have become the main target markets of global blockchain technology research and development and patent layout, and China’s blockchain technology has entered a period of rapid development, with strong technical competitive advantage. Finally, in view of how to give full play to the role of intellectual property and help China’s blockchain technology innovation and industrial development, this paper puts forward specific suggestions on intellectual property strategy, quality improvement project, patent service ability and overseas layout awareness.
