大学生英语在线学习投入维度构成及影响路径分析 被引量:19

The Analysis of the Dimensions and Influencing Paths of University Students’ Online English Learning Engagement

摘要 当前探讨在线环境中学习投入对大学生英语学习成效影响的研究鲜见。本研究以1795名大学生为研究对象,采用问卷调查法进行探索性因子分析,归纳并描述构成大学生英语在线学习投入的5个维度以及其中所含9个因子;通过结构方程软件进行模型构建,总结维度之间的作用关系与影响路径。数据分析结果显示:大学生英语在线学习投入由行为投入、认知投入、情感投入、能动性投入、学习动机等维度构成,其中,行为投入和认知投入对能动性投入皆有直接影响;学习动机对行为投入和情感投入分别呈现显著影响;情感投入对认知投入产生直接的显著影响,同时以认知投入为中介变量对能动性投入产生影响,但并不显著。深入理解学习投入的维度构成并系统分析其影响路径对优化大学生英语在线学习实践具有重要启示意义。 Few attempts have been made to explore the effect of learning engagement on university students’ English learning outcomes in online environment.Conducting exploratory factor analysis through a questionnaire survey with 1795 university students as subjects,this research generalizes and describes five dimensions of their online English learning engagement and nine factors contained therein,and constructs structural equation model to summarize the relationships and influencing paths among the dimensions.Results of statistical analyses show that behavioral engagement,cognitive engagement,emotional engagement,agentic engagement and learning motivation constitute university students’ online English learning engagement,among which,behavioral engagement and cognitive engagement have direct effect on agentic engagement.Moreover,learning motivation produces a significant effect on behavioral engagement and emotional engagement respectively.Results also indicate that emotional engagement has a direct and significant effect on cognitive engagement,as well as an insignificant effect on agentic engagement with cognitive engagement as a mediator.In short,a thorough understanding and systematic analysis on the dimensions of learning engagement and their influencing paths is of great significance for optimizing university students’ online English learning practice.
