摘要
头颈部鳞癌(HNSCC)是全球常见的恶性肿瘤之一,目前多采用手术、放疗、化疗和靶向的综合治疗,但效果仍不理想。免疫治疗在HNSCC的应用逐渐受到重视,然而只有部分患者得到了较好的疗效。T细胞免疫球蛋白黏蛋白3(Tim-3)是由多种免疫细胞表达的免疫检查点,参与肿瘤微环境(TME)中的免疫抑制反应。在临床试验中,已经证实阻断Tim-3能够展现出抑制肿瘤的作用。文章就近年来Tim-3在TME中的作用,HNSCC中的免疫抑制机制和可行的应用方式进行综述。
Today the comprehensive therapy of surgery,radiotherapy,chemotherapy and targeted therapy for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)-the common malignancies globally-has delivered unsatisfactory results.Immunotherapy thus steals the limelight,but only some patients claim sound outcomes.T-cell immunoglobulin mucin 3(Tim-3),an immune checkpoint expressed by varieties of immune cells,induces immunosuppressive responses in the tumor microenvironment(TME).Blocking Tim-3 has been proved to inhibit tumor growth in clinical trials.This article reviews the role of Tim-3 in TME,immunosuppressive mechanisms and feasible application in HNSCC in recent years.
