摘要
高管团队是企业创新决策的制定者,对企业的创新绩效负责。本文采用2014-2019年247家创业板企业的数据研究高管团队职能异质性对企业创新绩效的影响,同时引入中介效应与调节效应模型,分别考察了战略双元平衡是否发挥了中介作用,以及CEO权力是否发挥了调节作用。研究结果表明,高管团队职能异质性对企业创新绩效发挥了显著的正向影响,且战略双元平衡在其中发挥了部分中介作用,同时CEO权力正向调节了高管团队异质性对企业创新绩效的影响。因此,企业需要保持高管团队职能背景的多样性,在战略决策过程中对不同类型的创新活动加以关注,进而提高企业的创新产出,提升企业的创新绩效。另外,企业需要保证CEO拥有足够的权力,以有效协调异质性的高管团队,防止冲突和分歧对企业创新绩效产生不利影响。
Top management team(TMT)is the decision maker of enterprise innovation,and is responsible for enterprise innovation performance.Based on the data of 247 enterprises on GEM from 2014 to 2019,this paper studies the impact of the heterogeneity of TMT functions on enterprise innovation performance,and introduces the mediating effect and moderating effect model to investigate whether the strategic dual balance plays a mediating role in this process,and whether the CEO power plays a moderating role.The results show that the functional heterogeneity of TMT has a significant positive impact on enterprise innovation performance,and the strategic dual balance plays a partial mediating effect.At the same time,CEO power positively moderates the impact of TMT heterogeneity on enterprise innovation performance.Therefore,it is necessary to maintain the diversity of the functional background of the top management team,so as to pay attention to different types of innovation in the process of strategic decision-making,so as to improve the innovation output of enterprises and promote the innovation performance of enterprises.In addition,enterprises need to ensure that the CEO has enough power to effectively coordinate the heterogeneous top management team and prevent poor communication and possible conflicts.
