杨建新的丝绸之路研究

Professor Yang Jian-xin and His Silk Road Studies

20世纪50年代后期,杨建新毕业于兰州大学历史系,随即参加了全国人大民族委员会组织的少数民族社会历史调查工作,在甘肃省东乡族自治县进行了一年多的社会历史调查工作。1960年夏季他赴中央民族学院(现中央民族大学)历史系进修,系统学习蒙、藏民族历史和民族学理论,历时3年之久。杨建新长期任教于兰州大学,是兰州大学民族学科的创始人。他不仅长期从事中国民族史、民族关系史、民族学理论及历史地理沿革等方面的研究,也是我国学术界早期从事丝绸之路研究的学者之一。他与卢苇先生的《丝绸之路》一书是我国学术界第一本全面论述、深入探讨丝绸之路与海上丝绸之路的研究专著。他在丝绸之路方面的研究不仅具有很高的学术价值,也具有重要的现实意义。今天,已步入耄耋之年的杨建新依旧在孜孜不倦地从事相关研究,不断提出自己对"一带一路"发展规划的认识,为"一带一路"建设贡献着自己的力量。

In the late 1950 s, after graduating from the History Department of Lanzhou University, Mr. Yang Jian-xin took part in the social and historical investigation of ethnic minorities organized by the Ethnic Committee of the National People’s Congress, conducting a social and historical investigation in Dongxiang Autonomous County for over one year. In the summer of 1960, he went to the History Department of Minzu University of China to start the study of Mongolian history, Tibetan history and ethnological theory for three years. Mr. Yang Jian-xin, who has been teaching in Lanzhou University for a long time, is the founder of ethnology at Lanzhou University. He has been long engaged in research of ethnic history of China, history of ethnic relations, historical geography as well as ethnic theory and is among the pioneering scholars in the Silk Road studies in China. The Silk Road that he co-authored with Mr. Lu wei is the first monograph in China to comprehensively discuss the Silk Road and the Maritime Silk Road. Today, Yang Jianxin, already in his 80 s, is still tirelessly engaged in relevant research, and constantly proposes his understanding of the "Belt and Road" development plan, and contributes his own strength to the construction of "Belt and Road" initiative.
