《中国新文学的源流》与《中国新文学渊源》比较研究

A Comparative Study between The Origins of New Chinese Literature and The Source of New Chinese Literature

周作人在其《中国新文学的源流》中首次提出了五四新文学“晚明起源说”,他在五四退潮时期试图弥合新文学与传统文学之间的断裂鸿沟,更有意淡化西方民主科学思想对新文学的影响,其中包含着五四退潮的隐忧和对无产阶级文学的焦虑等。作为周作人的学生,任访秋的《中国新文学渊源》明显受其师影响。由于马克思主义辩证唯物史观和阶级论的掺入,他比起周作人虽然在宏观把握上胜出一筹,但在创新性和学术性方面略有逊色。比较两本书的差异,有助于我们更好地把握现代学术的传承脉络。

Zhou Zuoren first proposed the“Late Ming Origin Theory”of the May Fourth New Literature in his The Origins of New Chinese Literature.He tried to bridge the gap between the new literature and traditional literature during the May Fourth Ebb,and even more deliberately played down the West.The influence of democratic scientific thought on new literature includes the hidden worries of the May Fourth ebb tide and the anxiety about the influence of proletarian literature.As a student of Zhou Zuoren,Ren Fangqiu’s The Source of New Chinese Literature was obviously influenced by his teacher.Due to the incorporation of Marxist dialectical historical materialism and class theory,although he is superior to Zhou Zuoren in macro grasp,he is slightly inferior in innovation and academic aspects.Comparing the differences between the two books helps us to better grasp the inheritance of academic traditions and recognize the traces of the ideology of the times on literature.
