摘要
糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)是一种进展性的微血管病变。目前,DR的发病机制有多种假说,也有许多因素参与其中。而线粒体功能异常导致毛细血管细胞凋亡加速是DR发病的早期重要环节。基质金属蛋白酶2(MMP-2)在维持细胞完整性和生存方面发挥重要作用,高糖环境能够激活视网膜和毛细血管细胞的MMP-2。激活的MMP-2可能通过调节细胞凋亡、超氧化物蓄积等参与DR的发生。因此,未来对MMP-2进行深入研究可能为DR的预防和治疗提供新方向。
Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is a kind of progressive microangiopathy.At present,there are many hypotheses about the pathogenesis of DR,and many factors are involved.The acceleration of capillary cell apoptosis caused by mitochondrial dysfunction is an important early link in the pathogenesis of DR.Matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)is considered critical in cell integrity and cell survival,while high glucose environment activates MMP-2 in the retina and capillary cells.Activated MMP-2 may be involved in DR by regulating apoptosis and superoxide accumulation.Therefore,in-depth study of MMP-2 in the future may provide a new direction for the prevention and treatment of DR.
