Based on a three-legged jack-up unit model test system, the influence rules of offset distance, footprint size, single and double footprints are investigated by setting typical working conditions. The bending moment, horizontal force and angle of slope are measured and recorded. The results show that the non-uniform soil condition under the spudcan mainly causes the large bending moment at the bottom of the leg.The maximum loads of the leg and the slope angle of the platform decrease with the increase of offset distance, while increase with the size of the footprint. The maximum stress happens at the top of the away-footprint leg,and is prone to damage. The conclusions are of great significance to better understand the problem and guide the field operations.
