国外近十年学术英语教学研究对国内农科类研究生学术英语教学的启示

Implications of Foreign Academic English Teaching Research in Recent Ten Years on Academic English Teaching for Agricultural Graduate Students in China

在我国研究生教育国际化程度不断加深的背景下,如何提高研究生的学术英语水平不仅是公共英语教学的重要内容,更是事关学校实力较量的一项重要任务。通过梳理国外近十年研究生学术英语教学研究领域的语言知识和技能、需求分析、教学评价和教材开发,以及现代教学手段的应用等范畴,文章侧重从精品课程资源建设、教学研究语料资源建设以及专业化需求三个层面探讨了国外相关研究对国内农科类研究生学术英语教学的启示作用。

With the increasing internationalization of postgraduate education in China, how to improve the level of English for Academic Purposes(EAP) has become a major concern for college English teaching and also a task of primary importance for institutions of higher education making trial of their strengths. By digging into the overseas EAP teaching and research over the last decade regarding linguistic knowledge and skills, needs analysis, teaching evaluation and textbook development as well as teaching application of modern technologies, this paper explores how these categories enlighten the domestic counterparts in the field of agricultural sciences largely from the three perspectives of the construction of top-quality courses, the construction of corpus for teaching and research, and specialized needs.
