This paper analyzes the basic situation of the current economic engineering construction in China,probes into the opportunities brought by the national development strategy and the"14th fiveyears plan"to the engineering construction,and enumerates the hot spots and fields that the building materials industry should pay attention to,promotes that the scientific and technological innovation is an important means to enhance the core competitiveness of building materials industry.The enterprises must follow the national strategy,seize new opportunities,accelerate the transformation and upgrading,and achieve high-quality green development.
