摘要
选取2009—2018年28家上市银行作为研究样本,基于银行类上市公司年报数据,研究高管团队(TMT)多样性与银行创新能力的关系,剖析股权集中度与银行规模对上述关系的调节机制.研究结果显示:①TMT年龄、学历和任期多样性对银行创新能力均有负向影响;而TMT性别多样性与银行创新能力正相关.②股权集中度弱化了TMT任期多样性对银行创新能力的负向影响,强化了TMT性别多样性对银行创新能力的正向影响;银行规模能够弱化TMT年龄和学历多样性对银行创新能力的负向影响.
Selecting 28 listed banks from 2009 to 2018 as the research sample,based on the data of the annual reports of listed companies of banks,the relationship between top management team diversity and bank innovation ability is explored,and the moderating mechanism of equity concentration and bank scale on the above relationship is analyzed.The research results show that the diversity of age,education and tenure of top management team has a negative impact on bank innovation capability.The gender diversity of top management team is positively correlated with bank innovation capability.Equity concentration can weaken the negative impact of the top management team’s tenure diversity on the bank innovation capability,and strengthen the positive impact of gender diversity of the top management team on the bank innovation capability.The bank size can weaken the negative impact of the age diversity and education diversity of top management team on the bank innovation capability.The article enriches the upper echelon theory in testing the new moderating effect on the relationship between TMT diversity and firm innovation.
