The Cartesian Bridge: On the Psychology of Consciousness and the Psychopathology of Addiction and Schizophrenia

This paper considers psychometry and the psychochemistry of the biogenic amines as instruments for exploring the psychology of consciousness and, thereby, rational treatment of disorders such as addiction. A hypothesis on the nature of schizophrenia follows as a corollary.
