The demand for coal resources in China is large.In order to improve the efficiency and productivity of underground coal mining,it is necessary to promote the improvement of coal mining technology.It is necessary to conduct systematic research on the automation of shearers to improve coal mining technology.This paper expounded the current situation of shearers in China,systematically analyzed the advantages of the automation of shearers,and proposed measures and strategies to improve the auto-mation level of shearers,providing some reference for realizing the automation of shearers.
