Breeding of a new high quality purple-caitai“Shentaizixian”

“申薹紫仙”紫菜薹是以雄性不育系17-902为母本、自交系17-477为父本配制而成的一代杂交种,中晚熟,从播种到始收81 d左右。菜薹无蜡粉,紫红色有光泽,薹粗质嫩,平均单薹重约31 g,薹长25—35 cm,薹叶呈披针形,风味品质佳,外观商品性好,综合性状优良,露地秋季种植产量25300 kg∕hm^(2)左右,适宜长江流域秋冬栽培。

The purple-caitai“Shentaizixian”is a first generation hybrid with male sterile line 17-902 as female parent and inbred line 17-477 as male parent.It is mid-late ripening and takes about 81 days from sowing to initial harvest.The bolt has no wax powder,purplish red luster,thick and tender,the average weight of a single bolt is about 31 g.The bolt length is 25—35 cm,the bolt leaves are lanceolate,the flavor quality is good,the appearance is commercial,and the comprehensive properties are excellent.The output of open field planting in autumn is about 25300 kg∕hm^(2),which is suitable for autumn and winter cultivation in the Yangtze River basin.
