2021年11月5日-10日,第四届中国国际进口博览会(简称:进博会)于上海举办。作为本届进博会会展领域唯一配套论坛,中国会展业国际经贸论坛也于6日召开。本次论坛主题为会展推动经贸高质量发展,因此论坛在筹备期间便吸引了来自各方的广泛关注。由此可见,主题符合时代发展背景,并引起业界的广泛共鸣。我国会展业发展从无到有,从小到大,从稚嫩到成熟历经百余年政治、经济与社会形态的不断变革。而真正意义实现市场化发展当属千禧年以后。这其中,最为重要的环节是中国成功加入世界贸易组织(WTO)。入世后的中国经济有了飞速发展,市场化空间与经贸交往也更具规模,这为我国会展业带来优质的市场环境与商贸基础。因此,2001年后,中国会展业开始扩展,并逐步成为经济市场发展过程中重要的组成部分。2001年,中国第一本会展业正式期刊---中国会展杂志正式创刊,正是中国会展业蓬勃兴起的象征。

From November 5th to 10th,2021,the 4th China International Import Expo(referred to as the CIIE)will be held in Shanghai.As the only supporting forum in the exhibition field of this year's CIIE,the China Convention and Exhibition Industry International Trade Forum will be also held on the 6th.The theme of this forum is exhibitions to promote high-quality economic and trade development.Therefore,the forum attracted wide attention from all parties during the preparation period.It can be seen that the theme is in line with the development background of the times and has aroused widespread resonance in the industry.The development of China's exhibition industry has grown from scratch,from small to large,from immature to mature,after more than a hundred years of continuous changes in political,economic and social forms.The real significance of market-oriented development is definitely after the millennium.Among them,the most important link is China's successful accession to the World Trade Organization(WTO).After China's entry into the WTO,China's economy has developed rapidly,and the market-oriented space and economic and trade exchanges have become more scaled.This has brought a high-quality market environment and business foundation for China's exhibition industry.Therefore,after 2001,China's exhibition industry began to expand and gradually became an important part of the economic market development process.In 2001,China's first official journal on the convention and exhibition industry,the China Convention and Exhibition Magazine,was officially launched,which is a symbol of the booming of China's convention and exhibition industry.
