在过十几天,第四届中国国际进口博览会就要于上海召开了。这场世界上首个以进口为主题的国家级博览会,正如国际货币基金组织总裁拉加德所言:“中国不仅改变了自己,还改变了整个世界经济。”作为一名工作多年的会展人,进口博览会对于中国会展业的国际化发展同样具有极为重要的样本价值。站在展览组织的角度看,与G20杭州峰会等国际峰会主要是各国政要参会不同,进口博览会除了参会的政要外,还涉及企业参展商、境外采购商、当年首次进入中国的展品,面临海关、公安、商检、知识产权、税收等一系列问题,考验的是举办城市国际化程度和应急应对能力。这就是中国国际进口博览会落户上海的最主要因素。

In more than ten days,the 4th China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai.This is the world’s fi rst import-themed national-level expo,as IMF President Lagarde said:“China has not only changed itself,but also the entire world economy.”As an exhibitor who has worked for many years,the International Import Expo also has extremely important sample value for the international development of China's convention and exhibition industry.From the perspective of exhibition organization,unlike the G20 Hangzhou Summit and other international summits,which mainly involve politicians from various countries,the CIIE involves not only the participating politicians,but also corporate exhibitors,overseas buyers,and exhibits that entered China for the fi rst time that year.A series of issues such as customs,public security,commodity inspection,intellectual property rights,and taxation test the degree of internationalization and emergency response capabilities of the host city.This is the most important factor for the China International Import Expo to settle in Shanghai.
