摘要
人才培养是大学的本质职能,大学教师是人才培养工作的主力军,因而,大学教师专业发展显得尤为重要。大多新进大学教师岗位的博士没有任何师范基础与训练,很多教师以提升自身教学素养作为专业诉求,因此,以促进大学教师专业发展为目的的大学教师发展中心应运而生。大学教师发展中心作用的发挥与其结构功能密切相关。从现有大学教师发展中心的运行看,其发展困境在于自身专业化的诉求与行政化路向之间的矛盾,大学教师发展中心各类项目与教师真实发展需求之间的矛盾及大学教师发展中心低水平运行与中心之间联动贫乏的矛盾。基于此,应当把加强教师发展中心自身的专业化建设、创新教师发展中心活动形式和增强高校教师发展中心间的互学互促作为变革的重点方向。
The cultivation of talents is the essential function of universities,and university teachers are the main force of talent training. Therefore,the professional development of university teachers is particularly important.Most of the newly recruited teachers of ph D in universities do not have any foundation and training.thus many of them seek to improve their teaching qualities as their professional demands. In this way,university faculty development centers have emerged to promote the professional development of university teachers,whose role is closely related to their structural functions. In terms of the operation of existing university faculty development centers,their development dilemma lies in the contradiction between their own professional demands and administrative directions,between the various programs of these centers and the actual development needs of teachers,and between the lower level of operation of center and the lack of linkage among centers. Consequently,the key direction of changes should be focused on strengthening centers’ professionalization,innovating the forms of activities in centers and enhancing mutual learning and promotion among centers.
