Thoughts and Suggestions on Enterprises Action and Practice for Carbon Neutrality

落实和推进碳达峰、碳中和战略,企业是主体,企业的行动和实践效果在一定程度上决定了我国碳达峰、碳中和的进程和成效。在碳中和的战略背景下,产业上下链、贸易规则和市场准入、投资者和消费者都对企业提出了更高的碳中和要求。企业面临着来自各方面的减碳压力。在碳中和目标下,企业存在着转型成本较高、思想认识不到位、基础设施和技术支撑不足的问题。为此,建议政府加强对企业的政策支持和技术支撑,构建新的技术标准体系,建设低碳/零碳示范园区,并鼓励企业自主创新,不断提升企业碳排放治理能力和自身的竞争力。

Enterprise is the main body in implementing and promoting emission peak and carbon neutrality strategy,and their actions and practical effects to a certain extent determine the process and effectiveness of carbon neutrality in China.In the context of carbon neutrality strategy,the industrial chains,trade rules and market access,investors and consumers have put forward higher carbon neutrality requirements for Chinese enterprises.So the enterprises face pressure to reduce carbon from many sides,and have the problems of high transformation costs,poor ideological understanding,insufficient infrastructure and technical support under the carbon neutral goal.Therefore,suggestions are proposed that the government should strengthen policy and technical support for enterprises,build new technical standards system and low-carbon/zero-carbon demonstration parks,and encourage enterprises to innovate independently and continuously improve their carbon emission governance capabilities and their own competitiveness.
