Moral education in colleges and universities is a complex ecosystem. As its important research direction, ecological moral education has great practical significance and distinct value of the times. In the process of promoting the construction of ecological civilization, the value orientation of ecological moral education in colleges and universities should be enriched with new connotations, new ideas and new practices, so as to gain insight into the historical mission of "what kind of people to train and how to train them", and practically enhance the effectiveness and timeliness of moral education in colleges and universities.
