在298K标准镉汞齐电极的标准电极势

摘要 固体金属镉电极和饱和镉汞齐电极的标准电极势,Harned等已有过综合性的评述.两年前我们从饱和硫酸镉标准电池在298K的电动势测定值出发,用热力学方法计算得饱和镉汞齐电极和固体金属镉电极的标准电极势值分别为-0.35215绝对伏和-0.40264绝对伏. This paper deals with the determination of the electrode potential of six different concentration cadmium amalgam(Cd concentration varies from 0.00510 to 0.52775 m)in a saturated CdSO_(4)solution.Two reference electrodes,i.e.,the Hg-Hg_(2)SO_(4)electrode and 10%Cd amalgam electrode,were used during the measurement.The result of the potential measurement for each Cd amalgam electrode was agreed to be±2μV.The standard potential of standard cadmium amalgam electrode,E_(Cd)^(0)2+/_(cd-Hg)=-0.41154 abs.volt,was obtained by plotting a curve on the basis of the value calculated from"ECd^(2+)/Cd-Hg(m)+0.02958 lg m_(Cd-Hg)-0.02581"vs.√mCd-Hg and extrapolating to infinite dilution of Cd-amalgam.
