Ensamble Studio,a Spanish architectural design firm,is good at expressing space by exploring gravity,and giving ordinary materials and components new meaning by special construction.This paper analyzes the Hemeroscopium House in Madrid and the Cyclopean House in Bost on designed by the studio.The projects experimentally use standard industrialized components to create heterogeneous space,revealing the construction logic under the mechanical balance of components clearly,and ultimately maintains the integration of form,space,structure and materials.
