NdCl_(3)-BaCl_(2)-NaCl三元体系相图的研究

An Investigation on the Phase Diagram of Ternary System NdCl_(3)-BaCl_(2)-NaCl

借助于DTA和X射线衍射分析方法,研究了NdCl_(3)-BaCl_(2)-NaCl三元体系相图,发现本体系存在对应于NdCl_(3)、NaCl、α-BaCl_(2)、β-BaCl_(2)和Ba_(3)NdCl_(9)的5个液相面。6条二次结晶线,1个三元低共熔点E和三元转熔点P及一固相下形成的化合物。

The phase diagram of ternary system NdCl_(3)-BaCl_(2)-NaCl was investigated by means of DTA and X-ray diffraction analysis. It was found that there are 5 surfaces corresponding to the primary crystallization of NdCl_(3),α-BaCl_(2),β-BaCl_(2), NaCl and Ba3NdCl9 respectively, and 6 univariant lines related to the secondary crystallization in this system. The temperature of the ternary eutectic, composed of 74.0wt%NdCl_(3), 24.4wt%NaCl, 1.6wt% BaCl_(2), was determined to be 430℃. The temperature of the ternary peritectic, composed of 57.0wt. %NdCl_(3), 23.9wt% NaCl,19.1wt%BaCl_(2), was observed to be 508℃. A compound, formed in the solid state, is found, and decomposed occurs at 420℃.
