Chen Xiuhe and the Communication between China and Vietnam in the Early Post-war Period

"二战"结束后,越南国内外形势复杂。陈修和作为民国政府的军事专家参与入越对日受降工作。由于战时曾多次进入越南调查处理中越交通运输、保障国际援华物资线路畅通的经历,陈修和熟悉越南历史文化,对越南问题有深入了解。他同情和支持越南的民族独立斗争,帮助胡志明协调解决各种问题,与越盟有一些合作,阻滞法军返越,间接促成法越谈判,对越南民族独立事业有所贡献。

After the end of World War II,the domestic and international situation of Vietnam was complicated.As a military expert of the Republic of China,Chen Xiuhe participated in the surrender of Japan in Vietnam.Chen Xiuhe was familiar with the history and culture of Vietnam and had a deep understanding of the Vietnamese issue because he had been to Vietnam for many times during the war to investigate and deal with the transportation between China and Vietnam and to ensure the smooth flow of international supplies to China.He sympathized with and supported the struggle for national independence of Vietnam,helped Ho Chi Minh to coordinate and solve various problems,cooperated with the Viet Minh,blocked the return of French troops to Vietnam,indirectly promoted the negotiations between France and Vietnam,and made contributions to the national independence of Vietnam.
