摘要
为考察不同收入水平下城市化促进居民消费增长的作用机制,以中国2005~2017年省际面板数据为基础,构建中介效应模型进行实证分析。研究结果表明:在高收入地区,城市化可以通过产业结构、科技创新水平、消费结构这三个渠道来扩大居民消费;在中等收入地区,城市化仅能通过消费结构这一渠道来影响居民消费;在低收入地区,城市化只能通过产业结构这一渠道对消费产生正向影响。
In order to investigate the mechanism of urbanization promoting residents’ consumption growth under different income levels, based on China’s provincial panel data from 2005 to 2017,this paper constructs a mediating effect model for empirical analysis.The results show that: In high-income areas, urbanization can expand residents’ consumption through three channels: industrial structure, technological innovation level and consumption structure;in middle-income areas, urbanization can only affect residents’ consumption through consumption structure;in low-income areas, urbanization can only have a positive impact on consumption through industrial structure.
