The Impact of the Four Stages of Reform and Opening up on China’Economic and Social Development

1978年党的十一届三中全会的召开,拉开了中国改革开放的序幕,迄今为止的40多年,中国的改革开放经历了四个大的发展阶段,每一阶段都对中国经济社会的发展产生了巨大的影响。第一阶段是十一届三中全会到邓小平南方谈话,是改革扬帆起航阶段,基本解决了人民的温饱问题;第二阶段是南方谈话到中国顺利加入WTO,掀起了中国改革开放的第二次浪潮,多种所有制经济全面发展;第三阶段加入WTO以后到党的十八大,中国经济全面拥抱全球化,迅速成为全球第二大经济体;第四阶段是十八大以后到现在,中国率先在世界上消灭了绝对贫困,全面建成了小康社会,人民生活水平得到了极大的提高。

The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party was held in 1978,which opens the prelude to reform and opening up.It has more than 40 years.China's reform and opening up has gone through four major stages of development.Each stage has had a great impact on China's economic and social development.The first stage is from the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee to Deng Xiaoping's south tour talks,which is the starting stage of reform and opening up,basically solved the problem of food and clothing for the people.The second stage is from south tour talk to China taking part in WTO,which has set off a wave of China's reform and opening up and it has comprehensive development of diversified ownership economy.The third stage is from taking part in WTO to the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC,China's economy already globalized and becoming the world's second largest economy.The fourth stage is from the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC to the present.China takes the lead in eradicating absolute poverty in the world,completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all aspects,and people's living standard have been greatly improved.
