关于楚墓遣策所记瑟的附属物“桊”及其有关问题

二十世纪90年代末,我曾在一篇小文里论及楚墓遣策所记瑟的附属物“桊”。近年公布的江西南昌海昏侯墓出土的瑟禁,证明瑟的附属物“桊”就是瑟禁的“禁”,是放置瑟的座具。本文在这一认识的基础上,进一步论证上古音“桊”可以读为“禁”,同时还论及跟瑟禁有关的一些问题。

Back in the 1990s,the author in a short paper briefly discussed on juan,documented as an accessory to se-zither,which were noted on tomb inventory of the Chu tombs.Given the discoveries of se-zither and jin-stand recently reported for the Marquis of Haihun in Nanchang City of Jiangxi Province,the present paper proposes that the so-called juan should really refer to jin-stand.That is to say,the item juan was used as a support or base for se-zither.Based on this observation,we explored further and proposed that juan should have been pronounced as jin,not juan,in ancient China.Other issues relevant on se-zither and jin-stand were also discussed.
