摘要
卞孝萱编写的《民国人物碑传集》和中国社会科学院"近代史资料"编辑部编写的《民国人物碑传集》同名,二书原计划为合编,随着金毓黻与卞孝萱关系的变化而各自出版。二书不同之处颇多。金毓黻的编纂方法彰显民国学人在传统学术文化领域的近代化努力。卞孝萱所编总体上更接近传统碑传集的编纂特色。二书接续了碑传集编纂的传统,体现两位史家保存史料的自觉意识。如果不做史学史的考察,就不能对这两部书之间的渊源关系有所了解。了解把握学人之间言行的关联性,是近代中国学术的重要一环。这两部著作也为认识史学史研究的重要性提供了生动的案例。
There are two eponymous MINGUORENWU BEIZHUANJI(《民国人物碑传集》)respectively edited by Bian Xiaoxuan and Editorial Department of Modern Historical Data of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and they were originally planned to be co-edited and eventually published separately. There are many differences between them. Jin Yufu’s methods show that scholars in the period of the Republic of China try to modernize the traditional academic. Bian Xiaoxuan’s methods are more close to the traditional scholarship in general. The two books continue the traditional compilation of epitaph sets, which reflects that the consciousness of two historians preserving historical materials. Without a historiographical study of books, can’t scholars understand the connection between them. The research on the two works provides a vivid case for understanding the importance of historiography.
