美国马萨诸塞州公共图书馆信息素养教育实践及启示

Practice and Enlightenment of Information Literacy Instruction in Massachusetts Public Libraries

马萨诸塞州公共图书馆进行公民信息素养教育在全美颇具代表性。文章采用网络调查法和文献调查法,梳理马萨诸塞州公共图书馆信息素养教育制度建设、采用立体化项目推动、提供多元化信息素养教育内容、面向不同年龄段提供相应信息素养服务、建立完善的信息素养教育评价体系等方面的探索。借鉴其经验,我国要加强公共图书馆信息素养教育制度建设,各级公共图书馆要强化其息素养教育社会职能,创新信息素养实践项目式操作,开展针对不同群体的精准信息素养教育。

Massachusetts public libraries are representative of information literacy instruction for all in the United States.Based on network survey and literature survey,information literacy instruction in Massachusettes public libraries is studied systematically.The libraries launch comprehensive programs,design diversified content,provide exclusive service for different age groups and establish a perfect evaluation system.Suggestions on improving infromation literacy instruction in China includes enhancing the system construction,libraries attaching importance on the social responsibility,innovating program mode of information literacy,and develop targeted information literacy instruction for various groups.
