海外华人女作家群作为华文文学创作的重要组成部分,与中国大陆的当代女性作家遥相呼应。陈谦身为北美华文女作家群中的一员,在其创作的长篇小说《无穷镜》中呈现了海外华人精英女性的生存镜像,折射出海外女性身处性别和种族双重压迫的窘境,以及女性孤独的反抗之路。陈谦笔下的女性选择以将自我放逐出男权社会的方式,来追寻并建构女性自身的主体性。

As an important part of Chinese literary creation,overseas Chinese female writers echo the contemporary female writers in mainland China.As a member of the Chinese female writers in North America,Chen Qian presents the survival status quo of overseas Chinese elite female in her novel Infinite Mirror,which reflects the plight of overseas women in the dual oppression of gender and race,and the way of women’s lonely resistance.In Chen Qian’s works,women choose to pursue and construct their own subjectivity by banishing themselves from the patriarchal society.
