核心与边缘:元祐党争视域下的宦官考察

Core and Edge:An Investigation of Eunuchs from the Perspective of Yuanyou Party Struggle

元祐时期,受党争的影响,无论是元祐旧党还是新党官员都无法做到客观公正,以致于对同一个宦官的描述竟出现截然相反的两种评价。从北宋元祐始至南宋绍兴间,《神宗实录》与《哲宗实录》几经修改,参与党争的宦官形象也多被扭曲。总体而言,北宋晚期乃至整个宋代,宦官凭借宿卫宫省的便利,无限接近权力的核心地带;但在士大夫掌握话语权的情况下,宦官又尴尬地处在历史叙述的边缘。

During the Yuanyou period neither the old party of Yuanyou nor the new party officials were able to be objective and fair affected by party disputes,so that the description of the same eunuch appeared to be two completely opposite evaluations.From the beginning of Yuanyou in the Northern Song Dynasty to Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty,the“Authentic Records of Shenzong”and“Zhezong's Records”were revised several times.The images of eunuchs who participated in party disputes were also distorted.In general,in the late Northern Song Dynasty and throughout the Song Dynasty,the eunuchs were infinitely close to the core area of power by relying on the convenience of attending upon the institutions in the imperial palace and the opportunity to be close to the emperor and central officials.However,when the scholar-officials had the right to speak,the eunuchs were awkwardly at the edge of historical narrative.
