Influence of Light Sources on the Color Rendering of Colored Gemstones

彩色宝石的颜色是决定其价值最主要的因素,而光源又是影响彩色宝石颜色呈现最主要的因素。宝石在不同光源下颜色的细微差别会对商业价值产生影响,充分的颜色呈现可以更好地吸引消费者的目光,增强顾客的消费欲望,促进珠宝销售。本文选取了5种不同颜色(红、黄、绿、蓝、紫)的宝石作为研究对象,用相机采集各宝石在4种常见光源下的照片。基于采集到的照片,采用主观评价的方法选出各颜色宝石的最优照明光源,为消费者以及研究人员在宝石选购以及颜色评价方面提供最直观的图片数据支持。

The color of colored gemstones is the most important factor that determines their value,and the light source is the most important factor affecting the color rendering of colored gemstones.The minor color difference of gemstones under different light sources will affect the commercial value.The perfect color presentation can better attract the attention of consumers,enhance their desire for consumption,and promote the deal of jewelry sales.In this article,gems of 5 different colors(red,yellow,green,blue,and purple)were selected as the research object,and the pictures of each gem under 4 different light sources were collected by using a camera.Based on the collected pictures,the subjective evaluation method was used to determine the optimal lighting source for each color gemstone,which provides the most intuitive data for consumers and researchers in the secletion and color evaluation of gemstones.
