Study on the Design Thought of Kazuyo Sejima from the Perspective of Inheriting Culture

从日本建筑师承文化的角度分析妹岛和世的设计思想,来探求日本不断传承与发展的建筑文化。从日本建筑师菊竹清训、伊东丰雄、妹岛和世这一脉系传承的设计思想入手,通过不确定性的设计思考、"轻、薄、透"的设计表现、暧昧的设计意境等三方面的设计特征,结合其实际案例来解读妹岛和世的设计思想及手法上所呈现的主要特征。尝试通过从日本建筑师承文化的角度初步解读妹岛和世的创作理念及思想,并理解其思想背后的文化背景。

Through the analysis of Kazuyo Sejima’s design thoughts from the perspective of Japanese architect culture, this paper explores the continuous inheritance and development of Japanese architectural culture. From Japanese architect Kiyonori Kikutake, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima this vein system, the design idea of inheritance by the uncertainty of design thinking, "light, thin, transparent" design performance, the ambiguity of three aspects, such as the design of the artistic conception design features, combined with the actual case to interpret Kazuyo Sejima’s and the design idea and technique on the main characteristics of the present. This paper tries to interpret Kazuyo Sejima’s creative ideas and thoughts from the perspective of Japanese architect culture, and understand the cultural background behind his thoughts.
