数字阅读时代书籍设计观的价值转向

The Value Turn of Book Design in the Digital Reading Era

由于电子阅读设备具有独立于文本内容而存在的相对统一性,及其在生产与制作过程中更依赖科技发展的特殊性,现代书籍设计的对象被限定在狭义的一部书只讲述一项主题内容的传统书籍概念范围内。在现代化数字阅读时代,现代书籍的设计需要关注物质载体与文本内容在信息传播过程中的整体化契合程度。换言之,即将书籍的物质载体看作信息传播的本体,通过对文本内容的编辑、版式、装帧等方面的整体设计,以实现物质形态与文本内容一致的信息传播功能。

Due to the relative unity of electronic reading equipment independent of the text content,and the particularity of relying more on the development of science and technology in the production as well as production process,the object of modern book design is limited in the narrow sense of the traditional book concept of "a book only tells one subject content." In the era of modern digital reading,the design of modern books needs to pay attention to the integration of material carrier and text content in the process of information dissemination.In other words,the material carrier of books is regarded as the noumenon of information dissemination.Through the overall design of editing,layout,binding and other aspects of the text content,the function of information dissemination,that is,the material form is consistent with the text content is achieved.
