Song of Ouyang Hai,written by Jin Jingmai in 1965,has won widespread social recognition but has also been inevitably caught in the struggle and integration of different political and cultural forces.A careful analysis of the process of how Song of Ouyang Hai has become a literary model of that period,an identification of minute differences among those seemingly similar literary judgments as well as a presentation of the ups and downs of the novel and its author in different political and cultural power struggles will be of help for us to profoundly understand the reintegration mechanism of the“seventeen-year”literature.
